So could someone please explain to me the process for getting say a midi keyboard to work with an instrument inside of MB-7?
I've tried putting MB-7 on an instrument track in S1 and feeding it midi through the keyboard but that didn't work.

Does S1 stand for Studio One? I think you need to create a separate MIDI track and route it to the MIDI input of the plug-in (since it is not a synth, it will probably not work on an instrument track)
