Hi everybody,
It's been a loooong time since I dropped in. Been pretty busy over here. I've done some lurking here and there, but that's about it.
Anyhoo, a couple things:
I'm adding some more presets to The Zebra Orchestra, nothing too much, just 17 to be exact. The Zebra Orchestra will also go on sale again here shortly. It'll be $20 again, and after the sale is over, it's only going back up to $35...

:EDIT: The update is free! :EDIT:

Also, I'm working on several other banks. They will all be smaller and more focused on certain genres of preset than The Zebra Orchestra. There will be a soundscape library, a percussive library, a rhythmic synth library(it's going to be very aggressive, warm, gritty, and sequence driven. I might expand it to include more, but the entire bank will be very arpeggio/MSEG driven) I've been trying my hand at the ethnic stuff that everybody was excited about, but that is a CHALLENGING project! :phew:
There's other stuff too, but I can't bring any of it to mind.(kinda sleepy)

I've also got a little freebie in the works, themed around animal sounds, which is something Zebra can do very nicely. I'd like to have a couple demos up for these projects in the next couple months, so keep your eyes peeled!

One more thing: Congrats u-he team for the Satin release! I grabbed the demo the other day, but I haven't had time to crack into it much yet. I just got a chance to play with some of the presets. But so far - beautiful!!

I hope you are all doing well,

- Corin

Hi Corin,

just a quick question: I have purchased the Zebra Orchestra in the past, will I be able to get the update for free?

Thanks,

I'll drop a line as soon as I've got the website and my original announcement thread updated.

It should be in less than a week here. There are a few more patches I'd like to add and then I'll let everything roll out at once.

Esgalachoir makes THE BEST patches for Zebra... after Howard.

Esgalachoir CERTAINLY makes the MOST MOD-EXPRESSIvE Patches for Zeebs.

While Howard makes patches that are fat, well balanced and amazing examples of often AMAZING minimal approaches (learn from Howard FIRST)... Esgalachoir makes Patches that are wildly alterable, luxurious, languid and make great use of the 4 X/Y mod pad.(I pity the fool that don't have no Mod wheel skills)

I'm SO EXCITED!! OOoooo YAY!

Retired, Bored and ready to WRECK the JOINT... gonna drop some OLD-STEP, ya'll!!

Any news? Am in process of buying zebra and dark zebra, and an thinking that this would be a great addition and a bargain at $20 to boot.

Thanks, Tom!
It's cool - A minimal approach like Howard's opens a lot of doors and makes you really stop and think about every little piece of the sound you're working on.
I'm not a minimalist by nature. I like my bagels with EVERYTHING! :hihi:
(As a consequence of not being a minimalist: I am NOT your CPU's friend. :phew: )

But, being minimal is something I am trying to adopt, and it's been great fun.

hi,

existing customers of your bank are getting the update how?
thank you!
