I guess it is a matter of habit. Now the question is how to solve it for you... it's a bit of a technical complication. We'll see.

If nobody posts a song made with MVocoder, I'll buy it and make a song with it myself!!!

I haven't made anything with it yet, since I just bought it before this post; at its current price, it is a no-brainer. But it has been on my radar for a while. I've actually been looking for a good vocoder for a while now, and this topped the list for me in terms of sound, functionality, and price. I began looking in earnest actually just before Xils-lab put out there vocoder, so I tried that and just about every other on the market, both free and paid. The three I thought were best were Vocodex (had problems running it on my machine though, so a no go for me), Virsyn Matrix (expensive if not on sale), and MVocoder. Matrix was the fastest to get to the stereotypical vocoder sounds, but it can be a bit buggy, and as I mentioned, is quite expensive for just robot voices (not my only intended use though). MVocoder was for me the most stable and most feature rich, and if you spend time with it (tweaking), the most articulate and clear sounding; one thing to take note of, though, is that MVocoder does not accept MIDI (no internal carrier) like some of the other vocoders, so you have to feed it two audio signals and it is a touch slower to work with.Tricky-Loops wrote:I'm thinking about buying MVocoder. But I've read that it isn't the most straightforward vocoder and needs some training to get the most out of it...
While I'm ready to invest some (months) time, I don't want to need years to learn how to use MVocoder...
Are there people who have processed vocals with MVocoder with great results? What's your experience? Did you even make a whole song with MVocoder?
Would be nice to hear some sound examples or songs...

Great tutorial! Although I did know how to use a Vocoder, I didn't know that the frequency content of the carrier and the modulator should be as similar as possible...
BTW, the native English speaker has a good intelligible - slightly American - voice. The sub titles are a nice idea as well!

This is a nice deal - I didn't get any demo songs but I get video tutorials! I should buy MVocoder and make a demo song myself for the video tutorials...
