Hi,

I'm using Reaper 64bit and Satin 1.02 64bit on windows 7 64bit on an i7 with 12gb ddr3 and an RME HDSP9652.

After about 11 instances audio drops out entirely but the meters are still going, and FX CPU and Taskman are bother around 11 or 12%.

This happens regardless of ASIO buffer size or grouping within Satin.

Enabling the Compander seems to make it worse.

Thanks -robo

Hi,

I reinstalled win7 x64 and I'm getting more instances but there's still some strange behavior in Reaper x64.

Mostly when I first load many instances on multichannel drum vstis, kontakt or slate drums 4, sound will cut out and playback takes a bar or two to kick in. There's also random dropouts but the meters keep going in Satin.

After I save and reload a project things seem to get normal and everything plays immediately, no mute for a bar or two.

This happens regardless of asio buffersize and cpu stays about the same from 64 samples to 1024 asio buffer.

Thanks -robo

Hi,

We'd like to look into these issues. Can you guys send us as much information as possible to support at u-he dot com? We'd usually ask for a screenshot with Satins open, maybe a song/project file if possible. The main thing would be any hint that lets us reproduce the issue.

A possible crash in the VST3 layer has just been fixed btw. so chances are that we'll have a remedy by next week.

Probably not related, as Reaper doesn't support VST3.

Hm, I can't reproduce any dropouts or crashes or other problems.
Windows 7 x64
Reaper 4.5.2 x64
Satin 1.0.2 VST2 x64

15 instances of Satin working heavily during playback, maxing CPU load of ~10% ... so I really have no clue what problems you're experiencing.

As Urs mentioned: send as much info as you have (steps to reproduce, crash logs, etc.) to me via support eMail.
