Sonimus said a demo is coming later, as it wasn't planned originally.Endor-8o8 wrote:No demo ?

demo version was not originally planned, but as many of you asked for a demo we have decided to do it.Endor-8o8 wrote:No demo ?
The demo is still in development and will be released as soon as it is finished and tested (about a week)

Love the GUI.
I don't have any 3rd party EQ plugs (besides the one that comes with the Focusrite Scarlett suite), so I'm really looking forward to the demo.

Oh man, I have som much software EQ's but Sonimus always delivers...
And no hassle with copy protection, just copying a dll and you're good to go.
I'll wait the demo.

just bought it. wow. the drive knob is da bomb! everything i'd ever need in an EQ is there - HP/LP, hi boost/cut (several types of cut, actually), low mid and high mid bands, and pultec-stype bass. and they all sound superb, to my ears at least.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

I actually like HW-like GUIs, but this one is not very good.
Something is just not "right" there. my brain is trying to decipher the vusuals, but it can't... something in the 3D is just not "right" (the interface perspective makes it look like it is "Wrapped" around something...)

Hi M.L.M.!!M.L.M. wrote:Nice Eq and i love it, but there are two questions,
How can i save my own Presets?
And where are the Factory Presets?
cheers
"How can i save my own Presets?"
each DAW uses a different way of store personal presets.
"And where are the Factory Presets?"
Each audio/track/sample is unique, a preset may work for me but may not work for you. This is why we don't include presets in our in our equalizers.
to achieve a good mix you should use your ears and not a preset, at least to me it is the right way to achieve a good mix.
You can make use of our support system at http://sonimus.com/support/ if you have any question.
Enjoy SonEQ Pro!

I found this thread on its page 3, so had to go back and see what the issue is with the 3D rendering.
As many have stated, the colours are great but the illusion of 'perspective' feels odd.
In fact, the whole basic concept behind the 3D rendering is just completely wrong from a human perception point of view.
If I put my nose a couple of inches from a well-known working environment - be it a mixer console, a keyboard or whatever - my brain processes and corrects the visual stimuli so that my impression is that all keys, buttons, rotaries, etc., look the same.
I don't get an overbearing impression of central perspective!
The concept of the SonEQ Pro GUI in its current guise is a misunderstanding of how human vision works.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!
