Lots of debate on the GUI (which I quite like), but not as much about the sound?!?!?!?

I agree.Spitfire31 wrote:I don't get an overbearing impression of central perspective!
The concept of the SonEQ Pro GUI in its current guise is a misunderstanding of how human vision works.

I ended up buying Sweetone (it is sweeeeet
BUT
The distorted GUI follows the same lines there. I asked the developer for 2D GUI. hope he'll comply.
In the meantime, I'm trying to focus either on the left or right side of the interface. otherwise I keep getting dizzy

...not.Burillo wrote:the gui is fine
Its the same like polyana. And AQ got slaughtered for the gui....
For me its a reason not to buy this eq. I think the freeware gui is much better wothout the pseudo-perspective.

I just sent a ticket to Sonimus support from what seems to be a bug.
It seems, when you switch the High band into Cut mode, that SonEQ Pro (at least its GUI) doesn't recall the frequency if you change the curve, and vice-versa. For example, I can't set a 8kHz HS cut, or a 15kHz LP-HS cut... or once again, at least the GUI doesn't recall those kind of settings where the aforementioned knob doesn't share the same "visual" setting.
Did anyone else also noticed that ? I'm using the AU.
About the GUI : I think it looks great but, even if it isn't a deal breaker for me, I don't get the weird knob perspective either. I just tried with the nanoKontrol 2 MIDI controller lying around on my desk : I have to put my head as close as 5cm from the knobs to have the same kind of weird distorted perspective...

SonEQ Pro: Out Now!…
…and already forgotten!!
You know why? Because there's no DEMO available.
Then long promised +never hold SonEQ v1.1.2 update never came out!
Looks like the old "BITWIG-Fata Morgana" misleading so many people…

SonEQ free is a demo enough for SonEQ Pro. SonEQ Pro is basically a better, more functional, x64 compatible SonEQ free (i for one love the different hi-cut options!).

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Sound is exceptionally smooth (instant love) and pleasant to my ears.
Especially if you search for a kind of De-Harsh tool this thing is very good for this job.
I recommend this EQ also for the few boost-instead-cut guys.
About the GUI: Not the best looking, but it works for me.

The demo version was not originally planned, but as many of you asked for a demo we have decided to do it.
The demo is still in development and will be published as soon as it is finished and tested.
About the free version:
SonEQ (free) is a free plugin, We do not warrant support for free plugins, we are not forced into anything with free plugins. if you like it, use it, if you do not like it you can delete.
anyway we have planned an update.

I'm sorry but I don't know what to say, I like the GUI,Tp3 wrote:pylorca, can you comment on the 3D that many of us have trouble with ?
I think it's a matter of taste. however I will mention it to the GUI designer.

The gui itself is not the problem. Its the weird perspective. I can't look at it without getting headaches...

Is supposed to work that way. I'm going to explain why.
originally, I was not going to change the legends for cut mode, because every "cut mode" is related with the freq of the "boost mode" (with the exception of "LP"):
- LP+HS: 6 khz HighShelf boost + Low pass 6 dB/oct
- LP: is a lowpass, this is the exception.
- LP-HS: 12 Khz HighShelf cut + Low pass 6 dB/oct.
- HS: 15 Khz HighShelf cut.
So every CUT mode, relates to the boost mode.

It's better to offer DEMO-Products BEFORE or with the main release!! I know, we Latin people can sometimes be incoherent = lacking in clarity or organization.

You are free to choose, if you dislike sonimus, there are a lot of plugin companies to choose. anyway I will accept it as a critical. I hope it will be helpful.
I apologize to everyone for this comment
