With critics you will grow - not with flattering!pylorca wrote:Hola "Amigo"Delfinoverde wrote:pylorca wrote: We are working on a demo version, (check first page of this thread) The demo version was not originally planned, but as many of you asked for a demo we have decided to do it. The demo is still in development and will be published as soon as it is finished and tested.O' lo siento amigo - Sorry but that's a mistake!
It's better to offer DEMO-Products BEFORE or with the main release!! I know, we Latin people can sometimes be incoherent = lacking in clarity or organization.

I just bought it and I like it. No headache from the GUI and pleased with the sound.

Good god I love this EQ! It's magical, I have nothing to compare it to. I put it on every track of an old and mixed to my liking project. I used it in place of the existing EQs, and tweaked away. The only track I could not quickly dial in a better tone on was the bass guitar. I got some sweet sounds mind you just not better for the task at hand.
Well done Sonimus, well done!

So what you are saying is that this works like a pultech; no ??pylorca wrote:
Is supposed to work that way. I'm going to explain why.
originally, I was not going to change the legends for cut mode, because every "cut mode" is related with the freq of the "boost mode" (with the exception of "LP"):
- LP+HS: 6 khz HighShelf boost + Low pass 6 dB/oct
- LP: is a lowpass, this is the exception.
- LP-HS: 12 Khz HighShelf cut + Low pass 6 dB/oct.
- HS: 15 Khz HighShelf cut.
So every CUT mode, relates to the boost mode.
( gives the ability to boost a low freq whilst at the same time pulling back on the adjacent low mids that would normally make a wide-ish Q boost bass boost also get the woofy-ness in der mids )
P.S. ,
I only typed all that to see if I have it straight in my cabeza......

Yeah, what he said. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the GUI.ftech wrote:And for we who have no problem (or even, dare I say it, like) the current GUI?pylorca wrote: We have taken note about it, soon we will discuss with the GUI designer, please be patient

I actually never noticed the weird orientation of the knobs on Sweetone until someone mentioned it here, so no problems for me with the GUI.
The sound and handling of SonEQ Pro are superb, it's very easy to dial in what you want. The drive is very subtle and gives some nice colour. I didn't get the Cut options yet but some manual reading will help I guess.
Good work

Looks similar to the Softube Tilt, but not sure how it compares sound wise........

Any need for SonEQ if you have UAD Pultec,Pultec Pro, and Harrison 32C?
When might someone choose this EQ over those other options?

I ended up removing the plug altogether yesterday.
Sonimus, here's my advise :
Even if 2, 3 or 10 of us users are exhibiting SUCH NEGATIVE view on the interface... you should seriously take note (and hey, it should all be about the sound, no ? well, it should. but it CAN'T).
This is the first (and only) software in my entire life I cannot look at. simple as that.
I invested 35$ on Sweetone... ok, I consider it as a "thank you" donation for SonEQ (which I still use) but I cannot use it (and obviously, won't even consider SonEQ PRO).
Just my 0.02
