Well, I'll tell you what. Nothing I record is so critical that I would miss it, so I will go ahead and take one for the team. If I lose something it will not be a big deal, but at least I will be able to be there to witness any carnage.

Joke of the year! :D
Moving to 64bit is a necessity if you want your iDevice to handle more RAM then it currently is capable of. And if you use iDevices in your music production, you would want that. So yea..what's the joke?

I just updated to iOS 7 last night. Overall, I like it. Nice look, some interesting features, and Siri has apparently been beefed up a bit.

Some niggling issues which I'll probably forget over time. But I do miss the search feature (or maybe I just haven't found it yet).

Pull down in the middle of any home page and the search bar will appear at the top.

If you pull down too far up you get notifications.

If you start experiencing increased battery drain, it'll be due in part to the "parallax" effect.

Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce motion.

Also, if an app asks for permission to the mic, say "yes" if it is an audio app. Otherwise it turns off that apps inputs. If you accidentally said no to this, go to,
Settings > Privacy > Microphone. Then turn on any apps that require an audio input.

Thanks. I kept swiping from the top and getting just the notifications.

That's a pretty subtle difference, but it works!

No.

Not only do i find the GUI to be horrific, i have an iPhone 4 and don't want it slowed more than what iOS 6 did to it.

Working fine on my ipad2. Haven't noticed it being any less responsive, and, while I haven't tested every single app I have, haven't
run into any specific problems.
Some interface changes bug me, but I actually like Safari better.

Cool that they still make it compatible to old devices like iPad 2. Well, it's still being used much i guess.
