Hi,
I am trying to run an unsupported plugin on my VIP; it is designed to operate at a sample rate of 44.1, and it seems that my Receptor will only run at 48.0. The audio setup menu seems to offer options to set different sample rates, but they are greyed out... no change from 44.0 is possible.
In documentation on the earlier Receptors, it seemed like the sample rate could be easily set by using this same drop-down menu but which now seems dysfunctional. So... Any ideas on how to set the sample rate?
Thanks,
Scott
Why can't I change sample rate on the VIP?

Hi Murph
The sample rate on the VIP is fixed at 48kHz. This was done to provide the lowest latency and highest fidelity on that particular audio hardware solution.
The only way that you could support multiple sample rates is to attach a PreSonus AudioBox 1818, which would require a license and hub adapter to operate in rack mode.... If that was attached to the unit, then you would be able to run at multiple sample rates using the external audio I.O.
Feel free to contact the factory if you want to know about PreSonus pricing and options.
All the best
