This one is an installer. It doesn't overwrite or erase your own presets or registration

would have loved if automute could be globally saved (but I get you don't like global saves, like mutlicore in Ace and Diva etc)

Yeah, sorry, bad luck. I had seen the error last week, but I didn't know that it wasn't fixed in 1888. It's fixed here in 1893, but I can't make installers and I don't want to work on Clemens' machine.
