No offence. But Its very difficult to believe that you find it impossible to look at the GUI. However some DAW's like Logic will allow you to switch off plugin GUI's completely for a minimalist set of controls. When it comes to pro audio functionality and sound have priority over looks.Tp3 wrote:I ended up removing the plug altogether yesterday.
Sonimus, here's my advise :
Even if 2, 3 or 10 of us users are exhibiting SUCH NEGATIVE view on the interface... you should seriously take note (and hey, it should all be about the sound, no ? well, it should. but it CAN'T).
This is the first (and only) software in my entire life I cannot look at. simple as that.
I invested 35$ on Sweetone... ok, I consider it as a "thank you" donation for SonEQ (which I still use) but I cannot use it (and obviously, won't even consider SonEQ PRO).
Just my 0.02
As for Sonimus I don't think he is obliged to change the GUI to satisfy a minority of customers, if other people happily bought it because they like the GUI as is. His target market are probably those customers who are into his products for the sound not the aesthetics. Sonimus are only a small operation they couldn't possibly respond to and implement each & every single feature request that people ask for. They have to stop somewhere.
