It will probably not be a disc. It will probably be a dvd case with no dvd just a postcard with a serial number and download instructions.elxsound wrote:Non of it seems to be downloadable... I bought the Ohmicide deal (I couldn't pass it up). Disc has been shipped and on it's way.autodafe wrote:is this "muician friend" offer not downloadable?
i tried urchasing XLN piano collection but it adds shipping...
I would have picked up Addictive Keys if I didn't own it already (and paid more). Damn good deal.

I got it last time they did this deal. It is all three pianos and it is a product key and a disk, but the disk contains only the online installer.
Has anyone ever heard of the Sound Arsenal VSTi/AU by Music Weapons that is on the sale thread? 43 GB seems like a lot of instruments for a VST noone seems to have ever heard of.

Audientronic posted that Lemur for iPad is now on sale.
NOD-E comes from the mind of Antonio Blanca, whose creations for Lemur and REAKTOR are truly stunning (check out DRON-E if you haven't already). NOD-E is essentially a minimalist version of his ABreakpoint Lemur template. Fortunately for us, it is available for free download in the REAKTOR User Library.
As far as I know, this is the first time it has ever been reduced in price! For all you reaktor users, here is your chance to use Lemur to control Mr. Blanca's ensembles. As Brent Kallmer recently wrote:audientronic wrote:Lemur for iPadcurrently 25% off at 37.99.

Found a company demo for Sound Arsenal VSTi/AU by Music Weapons that was not impressive. The VST seems to be put together by some British hip-hop producers that know 'ill' and 'dope' but have never heard of Kontakt as they claim you can't get this type of sampled sound anywhere else in the world. All the instruments are in one long list and the demo presenter picked them at random often commenting that he had never heard this one before, but it was 'dope'. It makes you wonder when the company guy doing the demo had never heard the samples where the 'eck they came from.
Overall impression, lots of cheese from a company full of their own importance and clueless about the current state of the VSTi world. Would love to hear from someone who owns the VSTi, especially some better sound demos.
If you do buy it, hit the google+ button to save 10 bucks at the checkout.

"To be honest as someone who bought it for $30, it's literally not even worth $10. No builtin metronome to start and it goes downhill from there. Whenever it starts, Firefox crashes every time. Support is non-existent too. They really don't care they just want your money and nothing to do with you. Do yourself a favor and run the other way.... FAST!"

As an alternate recommendation, I'd go with Geist. What I wanted was a self contained software to sketch up some beats with. Geist does that very well and it's easy to load samples onto. I got a deal on it for $80 on eBay. Thère's a seller that puts up a license sale from time to time...
