As it is, we ask Urs and team for an internal solution... yet also demand it have drag-and-drop or various other solutions to get the resulting sequence into the DAW.
At first, I wanted to merely save my sequences in the composition only... but NOW, I find that even if I use the internal, I want to change the SOUND in the COMPOSITION.
With an stand-alone "zebra-external" sequencer, all one need do is reach out and change the patch... with it internal, your stuck altering the patch... altering it significantly takes all the time it usually takes (sometimes forever).
Also, it "fits" the "Berlin Modular" theme better... perhaps programming hooks could be used to make "special" access for U-he products... on top of the standard MIDI #CC range for mod control?
I know you have a sequencer in the works, this would simply make it Stand-alone and thus available to all u-he products as well as (to a slightly lesser degree) every other MIDI product out there.
( I suppose you can add a few ugly patch cables and big 70's-80's lookin' knob renders... if you must!
Just a thought, thanks for reading!
