Did you try switching to "Buttons" instead of "Knobs"? (Settings)
That way it is much smaller.

Thank you very much for this simple tip, which solved my problem.

While you are here, Vojtech, can I also say how much I love the new plug-ins MVocoder and MMultibandComb? These are quite fabulous and utterly outstanding. I couldn't believe that I was entitled to these as a bundle owner without an upgrade fee.

For the style editor, yes of course. But if you want to make the plugins look like in the images, then no, the styles are included and you only need to use Settings/Style

.

A little tip from me, based on bitter experience.

As soon as I load a new Style Definition, I immediately "Export as" it to a 'temp' mrf file. That way, I do not accidentally overwrite any lovingly-crafted styles.

When I am happy with my style changes, I then "Export as" it back into its proper style name AND Save the Style Definition file at the same time.

Holy cow, this is a complex puppy (must be female, hihi).

However I managed to change at least the clicked state of a caption button for a test. Something I always wanted to change because I can't really distinguish it from the normal state. Changing fonts is also helpful for me as my eyes are not too good... now I need to find the most suitable font. Thanks god it is raining on this boring sunday...

Folks, please stop!!!

We are changing the style engine and editor and next version of the editor will contain lots of "resources", like the buttons, knobs and stuff, so it will be way easier to come up with something usable. It won't be perfectly backwards compatible, so it is better to leave it right now
