I've been thinking about upgrading to this.

Zebra 2 doesn't seem to like 192k.

Does this run at 192k?

Thanks,

They're largely the same internally, save for a few extra features on HZ... doubt it behaves different than regular Zebra.

I'm curious. Why do you want to run at 192?

Post

96k sounds good but running at 192k sounds even better. The sound is more open and the low end more full.
If you have Sylenth1 try running it at 192k. Supersaw pads also become less harsh and smoother also.

I find 96 to be the sweet spot for Zebra... I didn't hear much difference between 96 and 192 and the cpu use gets too high... To each their own of course

Post

That's just waste of CPU, running everything at 192k. Pointless.

Post

I hear a difference. 96k is nice but 192k is a little more enjoyable.
As for CPU, I don't have a problem since I freeze each track.

Now sing with me - plaaaaceeeeebooooo.... coooognitiiiivee biiiiaaaaass. :D :D :D

Could be, I'm open to that. But I tell you, 192k is more real to me than all the religions combined in this world.

But, it runs at 192k, no? For me it does (not that I use such high sample rates).

It runs but certain parts of the synth are not optimized for 192k.

Take for example the HS patch - Deep Fjord.

When playing at 192k, you will hear artifacts than aren't there in 96k. When playing high notes - it's like a metallic ringing.

Honestly, 192k is really cool, but its not that important.

I love Zebra so much I never run any projects above 96k.

Also, when running at 192k you have to be careful because some of your favorite effect plugins may not support anything above 96k.
