Yeah, I see them come lurking now and again, but good luck to them trying to get any support here, this place has 100% no tolerance for pirates or piracy :uhuhuh:

Unfortunately, no. Specific files found on system scan. Two pieces of software I did suspect the programmers here told me they were false alerts as you stated. Apparently they were not.

But I just did a google of MaxSynths and if I can assume it is the same as the OP, than I can tell you I haven't downloaded any of that software or soundbanks and so that's eliminated.
Could you provide some links/names so we can verify/be aware?
I would like to, but as I mentioned it in their threads and got an onslaught of name calling and rhethoric of 'false positives', I'm wary of posting them again.

I will say, one has its own sticky to discuss though.

Did you see the one last week? Had a U-tube vid showing all "his Vsts" he would ship world wide.

Didn't last long here, maybe 15 minutes, but I got IBTL

I used warez FL Studio in 2006, but I bought it in 2007, and I'm glad, that I did. After that I never used illegal VST.

Your plugins are good, I don't have them because they are made by SE, but they're cheap, so why somebody need to download them illegaly?

Edit:

Maybe someone wants Trojan horses. :hihi:

Can you say if the plug in question has been made with synthedit?

dsan@mail.com wrote:BBFG# - don't you run a vc scan just after you have made the DL?

I don't DL much any more since I have more than I'll ever use anyway, but I can't say I ever got a virus from anything from KVR.

I do/did , and reported it to the thread the developer was posting it in, And was assured by all it was a 'false positive' to ignore.

Welcome to the club......   :?

Your stuff WOK I just cannot understand how that ended up on warez. I mean what is the most expensive vst you offer - $15???

It is a shame, this pirate issue but I just don't see it ending any time soon.

We all know the reasons why it happens and I guess as long as we have people we will have thieves.

What a shame.

Is that the new price for Uncle Sam? Last time I checked it was €39

Norton and Mcafee do this alot. They will issue the warning when the coding hasn't met their most recent updates yet.

Basically, if you trust the dev you can ignore the warnings. But anymore, who do you trust?

I mean, if you don't believe your virus software warnings it's like what's the point in spending the money on them?

I guess maybe I have been lucky but I have never had those warnings.

I think if I did though I would trust my virus software.

I didn't look at his site, just from remembering when I had gone their once, long time ago.

No, 39 Euros is like $58 dollars US.

I really didn't think he had anything that cost that much.

Point is, even at that price why is somebody stealing it? Rhetorical question. We already know why.

I'll give you hint on the one I'm fairlly certain of though. It's close the OP's name (but not the OP).
