browser - composition button functionality

I'm trying to set up the composition button to open the songs i'm working on. does it have the option to choose a folder that contains my songs?

A composition is not the same as a session. Compositions cannot be saved as separate files. See http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/overview.html and especially the architecture picture at the bottom.
If you want to show your MuSession files in the browser, click the "All Files" button (the star) and navigate to the relevant folder.
You could make a browser preset where "Where" is set to the top folder of your MuSession files and eventually "Which" to ".MuSession". That way it's easy to recall that browser setup.

Ok Thanks. That's how I'm using it. Wondered if there was a better way. I hadn't used the browser before and it's definitely a quick and easy way of accessing patches etc and keeping stuff organised in a song. Presets button is really useful.
