Aiyn Zahev's flight path presets are really nice and vintagesynthpads did some vintage sounds (not my style) but that's all I think.

Perhaps that's because TAL Bassline-101 came a little after, and got the basics better covered (and it is cheaper).TheKid wrote:I really wonder why synths like Massive and Sylenth get pounded with sound sets/presets while Lush 101 seems to get completely ignored. I know Massive and Sylenth are around for quite some time. Lush itself seems really nice but the amount of third party presets is really low.

For me only this. Makes it unfortunately rather unuseful to me no matter how great it can sound.ariston wrote: 2. The CPU usage is ludicrous for what you get - and this is speaking as a Diva and Synth Squad user.

3. For the pure SH-101 sound, you've got the excellent TAL Bassline as a cheaper alternative.
YMMV as to these gripes, but that's why I personally find it hard to love Lush.
Exactly the main reason why I didn't get Lush-101. I can live with the small UI but the cripling CPU tax makes it a no go.Nielzie wrote:For me only this. d16 are not updating their drum machines, but they published a road map for Lush updates.re_mute wrote:4. None of these issues will ever be addressed - D16 are shit at updating their stuff or responding to user issues, especially in contrast to U-He.
Unfortunately nothing mentioned about better CPU optimisation.electro wrote:d16 are not updating their drum machines, but they published a road map for Lush updates.re_mute wrote:4. I've found it very demanding on CPU just like others but thats only on some factory presets. It has 8 layers so technically its like having 8 LuSH 101's running.Timfonie wrote:Exactly the main reason why I didn't get Lush-101. That's a pitty because it IS a very good sounding synth with capabilities going far beyond that of TAL Basslline-101 and with a different sound character from Diva and Synth Squad.
CPU tax is the most mentioned reason why people are dissapointed in Lush-101 after all.
Good to know!dexterbella wrote:.. and multicore support.
