It's totally worth it. At least to me it is. Simple and straightforward mangling of anything you care to feed to it with super good sound quality and pretty in depth control if you want it.

Thanks!

Can someone post the reported latency for Glitch2?

Post

Are there any news on "module triggering with MIDI keys"?

This is still the main reason why I didn't go for v2 yet.

Thanks for the post on this old thread. I'd missed it for some reason (probably due to the birth of my daughter) but I've always been a Glitch 1 fan. I didn't even know it was once a paid plug, but it was worth buying many times over IMO. Great plug. Gotta check out the update.

Always glad to steer more people in the direction of this plug. :) and congratulations on the birth of your daughter. :)

Thanks! It's a rollercoaster and keeps me away from my music a lot more than I'd like but it's also been a special kind of awesome.

Any word on when the modules will be updated to have the functionality of the v1 plugin?

Same here. Still interested in the MIDI trigger feature of the Modules like with Glitch1.

Back in the days one master/one slave - but Glitch 2 could be as many at the same time as possible. This would turn it into an "Artillery" competitor.

Glitch2 or Effectrix? :help:

Post

Really glad to see this finally become available for OSX. In my Renoise/WinXP days Glitch1 was a tremendously fun plugin to use.

tuff one actually!

Glitch has more mojo but Effectrix has better overall sound quality IMO.
So, atm I still have a difficult time choosing one.
Meanwhile I can always use Glitch1. :P

I can't decide to choose one:

Glich2:
+ CPU usage (lower than Effectrix)
+ nice clean GUI with big knobs
+ easy to use
- price (VAT)

Effectrix:
+ more effects
+ better sound
+ cheaper than Glitch2 (here in marketplace)
- small GUI/tiny labels, knobs
