It's totally worth it. At least to me it is. Simple and straightforward mangling of anything you care to feed to it with super good sound quality and pretty in depth control if you want it.manducator wrote:Now that the 'just-released-hype' is over, do you think it's worth buying this?

Are there any news on "module triggering with MIDI keys"?
This is still the main reason why I didn't go for v2 yet.

is there a way to randomize all scenes at once? a global randomize so to say?
I'm looking forward to getting this. i bought version 1 back in 2005. can't believe how much time has passed.

Thanks for the post on this old thread. I'd missed it for some reason (probably due to the birth of my daughter) but I've always been a Glitch 1 fan. I didn't even know it was once a paid plug, but it was worth buying many times over IMO. Great plug. Gotta check out the update.fabi wrote:is there a way to randomize all scenes at once? a global randomize so to say?

Always glad to steer more people in the direction of this plug.zerocrossing wrote:Thanks for the post on this old thread. Thanks! It's a rollercoaster and keeps me away from my music a lot more than I'd like but it's also been a special kind of awesome.fabi wrote:Always glad to steer more people in the direction of this plug.zerocrossing wrote:Thanks for the post on this old thread. Same here. Still interested in the MIDI trigger feature of the Modules like with Glitch1.
Back in the days one master/one slave - but Glitch 2 could be as many at the same time as possible. This would turn it into an "Artillery" competitor.

tuff one actually!U-o wrote:Glitch2 or Effectrix?
Glitch has more mojo but Effectrix has better overall sound quality IMO.
So, atm I still have a difficult time choosing one.
Meanwhile I can always use Glitch1.

I can't decide to choose one:3ee wrote:tuff one actually!U-o wrote:Glitch2 or Effectrix?

Glich2:
+ CPU usage (lower than Effectrix)
+ nice clean GUI with big knobs
+ easy to use
- price (VAT)
Effectrix:
+ more effects
+ better sound
+ cheaper than Glitch2 (here in marketplace)
- small GUI/tiny labels, knobs
