I've been using MMultiBand Convolution as a guitar speaker cab; just one band, IR 1 in filter A, IR 2 in filter B (the two IR's are different). Is there some way (within the plugin) of panning IR 1 left and IR 2 right or do I need to route in the DAW to two instances to achieve this?

Post

Well, you can either use 2 instances, or load each IR1 for channel 1 and IR2 for channel 2 - the plugin does that automatically, but they need to be named properly, please check the docs about that.

Thanks; yes, I had read the docs about naming, but because the IR combinations I want to experiment with are from many different sources I guess 2 instances is the way to go.

One more question, if my project (in Reaper) is 44.1, can I load say a 48 KHz IR?

Post

Sure, you can load any IR, the plugin will resample if needed.

Great. I must say that I think MMultiBandConvolution is an incredible tool for guitarists. Hearing a tight spanky speaker on the low notes transform to a creamy smooth speaker on the high notes is a revelation.

Thank you! Spread the word ;) :D
