sorry guys, if I sounded to harsh ... no bad vibrations intended.

What I wanted to say in first place is, that all of the u-he instruments are musical gems. I have some real(hardware) and a lot of virtual synthesizers and IMHO Urs and his team has provided us with outstanding instruments. So I wanted to say, don't press them, let them go their own speed, and after some time, there will be gems again.

I can totally understand your excitement and longing for more. When Zebra HZ announcement dropped in my email box the other day I purchased it directly after understanding, what was special to it. And someway - I confess - I am a little u-he addicted too.

Is the Bazille beta a "full beta" or are their restrictions or expiring dates?

If the current one is like the previous ones, it will expire at the end of the year... it is fully functional as far it goes, but it is basically an alpha version so not even a beta yet. It is not feature complete. That said, it is awesome as it is and is super stable and usable.

Last year when it expired, Urs uploaded a new one that has been good for this year, but now Bazille 1.0 is getting closer and perhaps by the end of this year Bazille 1.0 will be in our sights! Only Urs can say for sure, but I guess that if Bazille is not ready by the end of the year, that he will provide another alpha and extend the expiration cause lots of people use it.

Whatever price he asks for Bazille when it ships will be worth it. There is no other synth like it!

I love all his free synths and hope that Bazille alpha will be also free. I mean the v1 of Bazille would be a big step forward, so why not keep the alpha free? I hope so ...

I figure v1 of Bazille is not THAT different from the alpha (some effects were added and completely new GUI, probably lots of bugfixes, but I'm unsure of any other differences?), so I wouldn't be sure about keeping the alpha free.

It's almost the same. We've added two auxilliary filters, separate outputs for LFO waveforms, modulation depth for filter resonance, 2 Mapping Generators and two Ramp Generators. Those new modules are put on an extra page, similar to what ACE has.

We're currently still in the middle of a massive bugfixings session. This takes up all of our energy. As it stands now we're going to be very happy if we can release updates to Satin, Diva and Zebra this year, alongside AAX support.
