Can the melody of my music already exist before i created it?

On the other hand, you don't have to worry if you play blues. Ppl borrow 12 barre progressions and licks all the time and a melody you come up with might've been used by some other blues guy before. Won't work if your trying to produce electronic though(unless it's modern pop music where they use the same supersaw riff in a zillion so-called hits).

If they take my songs. Then i will beat slice their songs.

in the end, this is all that really matters.
if we all liked the same things life would be somewhat pointless.

but, one should always be open to new things outside our usual choices. music is something we should celebrate and if you dont like soething, go and find soething else, theres lots of it out there.

This is why I kept saying it ^^ I can write tons and tons of points of view, claim this claim that, at the end it is all subjective

My own taste is into lifeless sounds, I don't articulate anything, even put velocities in the piano roll is a pain and i don't play any instruments

Sorry if I said that some posts were too long, just I drink non-stop since 3 weeks and I felt overwhelmed by too much information there Also my posts should have holes and nosense inside (and broken english), so no need to take what I say too seriously.

It happens with some of my songs.
For example i create a bass melody. And i never share that song. No one will hear my compositions. And then when i listen to new music i can hear that they stole the bass melody from my imagination.



The music i create should not use melodies and chords from other songs.
Accidents happen unconsciously. I hate doing recreations of existing songs.

This is very deep topic, and it happens to others as well.
There is one book that goes very deep into this matter: how it could be that 3 or 4 scientists creating the same patent and they are from the different countries never knowing for each other?

So you see ? There is nothing to fear about creating a melody that someone else will create later (or before). It just means that u are a genius who lives right in the present time. No jokes :p

I am reading forums instead of making music because i compose for nothing.
It feels like my music has no pictures connected to it because the background is always blank. Just like reading a book. You only see text. No images and no video. It feels like something is missing. The instruments are there invisible. You might connect the music to something that has nothing to do with it. Because the music was not heard in a videogame or movie. The music connects to where you are and when you listen to headphones when you walk in a deep forest and you hear a gunshot in the music. Then you think it's coming from the forest you are walking in. It sounds like a invisible man tries to shoot you in the forest. Because the gunshot you heard in the music sounds like it comes from outside your headphones.

I regret but when I'm reading a book I have full 3d movie with thx surround sound in my head, full flavors in my nose and gravity physics moving my body. Use your imagination !!

If that doesn't work for you, u can always compose full empty midi files without any synth or whatever sound. Send them to me, it'll be a pleasure to assign an instrument to each track and then mix the whole.

My brain too I guess
