Your step sequencer in Bazille is the way forwards, as far as i am concerned... If only more synths would have that approach for modulations... Everything about it screams ''creativity''.Urs wrote:Diva 1.3 will have a comprehensive vintage-style arpeggiator. One day we'll also add a sequencer, but that needs a little more design before we can put it in.
Diva, NO arpeggiator?

Too bad we couldn't use Zebra's Arp in Diva. That would be wonderful.

well here I must agree. Such things are a bit more difficult with external sequencers.DHR53 wrote:I'm surprised there aren't more synths with a sequencer used for modulation?

I can't wait for this feature for Diva, as I totally love Arps. In the meantime I've been using Pentacom's Arpg8r. Cheap and easy to use.
Although, it seems like a huge omission on Presonus's part not to have included one with S1. However I'd say we will see one in V3.

Not to go way off topic, or plug someone else's product too much on this forum, but thanks for the heads up on that. I'd never heard of it before. Great price, great GUI, simple to use. Works a treat with DIVA. Just wish it had a random mode.Robmobius wrote:In the meantime I've been using Pentacom's Arpg8r. Cheap and easy to use.

I've been on the brink to burn out for years, but I've always pulled through. I'm too addicted to work to let goxalama qo wrote:Don't burn yourself out Urs-man! It's not worth it! The reason I'm "paralysed" upon a release is a different one. I simply have to put too much time into communication, support, marketing and coordination. It's seemingly endless. There's a day for a newsletter, a day for ad design, a day for this and that, and a whole lot of hours for random things every day. It's a lot of aftermath...

No worries... It's just a quick fix until we get the fab one in the mighty Diva.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Not to go way off topic, or plug someone else's product too much on this forum, but thanks for the heads up on that. Yeah, pretty easy to do in Live.V0RT3X wrote:If you got Ableton Live you can use it on DIVA for some very nice results.
Oftentimes I just draw the arps in the piano roll. Doesn't take too much time.

An Arpeggiator is a musical instrument to be played.....of course you need a controller keyboard.....

It's hard for me to imagine having a boss such as you, and I'm sure you set a great example for your staff. You have a good team with you and you could probably delegate more responsibilities to them or eventually to new staff, but my guess is you have difficulty letting go of certain key responsibilities - such things that have helped make U-He a recognized and respected name among a competitive field of other great companies. Your vision, and dedication to seeing your own creative ideas and those of your staff and musician-users realized, has made us one of the most loyal customer bases I have ever been a part of. We are all grateful to you for raising the bar not only regarding the quality of your software, but for responding in a very direct way to musician's needs, with tools which are a great value to us, and doing it all with a special touch of class that has earned you everyone's (well, nearly everyone's) respect.Urs wrote:I've been on the brink to burn out for years, but I've always pulled through. And for all that, I think you should realize that you do deserve to take whatever breaks / vacations you feel inclined to take whenever you feel the need to break away. You know it will serve to kindle your creative juices and restore personal energy, and that you've earned it. We can wait a little while longer - we aren't going anywhere.

Was that in response to me? The second part of my post presumes a lack of an arpeggiator...and using arps for composition or in clips, e.g., in Live's session view...Teksonik wrote:An Arpeggiator is a musical instrument to be played.....of course you need a controller keyboard.....
