Hello !
When you say Zen... is it Zen from Bigtickaudio?
It's been a while that I haven't launched Bigtickaudio Zen... since I use Mulab and Cantabile. You confirm that you talk indeed of Bigtickaudio Zen?
I have just downloaded Logana from here :
http://www.box.net/shared/2s1xii1kon
When we use the main page of the product in KVR... it is totally impossible to find Logana. Presently it's not the product page of KVR but it is my friend Google which led me back to this topic! Someone could check and rectify the links in the product page?
Logana merits really better...

Wow, you dug something up.....
To be honest, at some time I couldn't work on it any longer because of personal sh*t. I've just moved house a few months ago and most stuff is still in flux, but I've rebuild my studio and am doing stuff again. However, so fat Zen (indeed from BigTick) hasn't made it back into my setup. Maybe sometime in the (near) future I'll finish the Logana-bank, but if I do I'll probably just upload it to KVR. But I guess there will be a Oatmeal-bank before that
I do agree that Logana is indeed a very nice sounding synth that got overlooked and didn't got the attention it deserved.

Well, as I said I don't use Zen atm. I might go back to it in the future, but rest assured I won't limit my patches to Zen in any case.yessongs wrote:well I am interested in both oatmeal and Logana presets but I do not use ZEN.
I'm finally back to doing time in my studio. Currently mostly rebuilding my setup but it's getting there. Pretty soon I might even get to the bass-traps I've been promising myself for years now
I actually didn't think about this Logana bank anymore, but I'll install Logana back on my DAW this weekend

well oatmeal is a better choice to create presets in as far as I am concerned so if your able to do that instead that is cool with me.

LoganA is a very underrated synth.
Comes with a beautiful GUI, with a clear layout, inviting tweaking
Quite easy to dial in some usable leads straight away. The LFO is very potent, wob-wob ahoy
Thanks to CC for bringing a working link

Thank you guys !
But before to get back to presets, Crimson... could you quickly rectify the dedicated page in KVR products? Two of three clicks are just necessary.
As I wrote...

It's the first very important thing to do. Because just with that it could give new chances to relaunch the downloads and to improve the popularity of this dramatically underrated synth...

I choose to do patches for Logana because it is one of the few free 3 oscillator synths around. Most VA synths have only two. If Oatmeal would have three oscillators it would be second to noneyessongs wrote:well oatmeal is a better choice to create presets in as far as I am concerned so if your able to do that instead that is cool with me.
Mind you, I already have over 50 patches for Logana, so there's already enough to release

I can not change that, only the Logana developer can do that.BlackWinny wrote:But before to get back to presets, Crimson... could you quickly rectify the dedicated page in KVR products? Two of three clicks are just necessary.

I agree that Oatmeal should have added another osc but with how good it sounds it is better than some commercial synths and for a freebie it is top 10 in all time best free synths.
I figure in the top 10 you have Prodigious, Antitranspirant, Synth 1, Voyager, Minimogue Luxus, Dune BE, Alchemy, Firebird, Zebralette and Oatmeal and that is my top 10.
I probably should not count Alchemy player as a synth its more of a sample based rompler kind of product in that incarnation since that version doesn't allow you to manipulate most of the parameters available in the full synth but it is still so bad ass. I guess if it doesn't count then I would replace it with one of these: Tyrell, Charlatan, PG8x, Mausynth, Poly 2106, Podolski or one of the free TAL synths Uno or Noizemaker.
I think I found the link to Logana in this thread somewhere.
Hurry up and release that free patch bank. Then you can develop some interest in the synth again and we can root you on to make the rest for later on. I think all banks should be 1/2 full so room is left for modified presets anyway. If I were a sound designer I would break my banks in half and put leads in one bank and pads in another. Then you can open up multiple instances and use pads on one and leads on the other at the same time to try to find a killer combo.

Although you would need the full version, check out Yuroun's site and give a listen to his 'Pure' soundset demos.
That should at least give you an idea of what Alchemy does as a synth.
