Wow! Bronto Scorpio's one note drone made me look closer at the feedback osc. Wow! That thing is fantastic! I hereby declare it to be the coolest thing in Diva!

Thanks a lot everyone! It's very easy to come up with something like that drone though!

Cheers

Incredibly super insignificant but the version is not updated in the ref. You probably do that on official releases, but thought I'd toss out a reminder just in case.

I cant get velocity in the positive direction to affect anything. WIN7 64 bit through Reaper 4.54. BTW DIVA sounding fantastic!
Never mind. Velocity routed to the Vol Mod appears to be subtle - perhaps because of the filter selected. But I can still get good dynamics when also routing vel to Env1.

That's interesting, I didn't really like the saw-feed osc. But, putting in context of something useful really makes a difference. I'll have to play with it now.Bronto Scorpio wrote:Thanks a lot everyone! It's very easy to come up with something like that drone though! It's my new favorite thing in Diva!Stollmeister wrote:Wow! Man, Urs is such a lazy programmer. Was expecting more from this update.
Only kidding, I had you for a minute, didn't I? It's really inspiring actually. Loving the new digital side of DIVA; she can sound very brutal now.
Great arp too, very well done.

Hi Folks
Is the most recent beta going to be posted back into page one of this thread each time? I noticed mention of Urs fixing issues that arose but I'm not sure if the fixes are downloadable yet? I want to make sure I have the latest revision before I report anything.
BTW I was checking KVR for this update almost daily for a looong time. It's even better than I hoped, I also caved and bought Satin last night, pure magic!

We're going to start a new thread each time we post a new beta, and it'll always be the only sticky thread on top. So yes, the first post is always the one with the latest beta.ikeaboy wrote:Is the most recent beta going to be posted back into page one of this thread each time? As traffic is quite strong, we need to keep threads contained to responses about only that beta. Otherwise we've been sitting in the studio, trying to reproduce bugs that have been fixed a long time before.

I have an unrelated question, before I buy DIVA (within the next month or so. or so I hope...) :
Are all u-He synths to be referred to as females ? (Urs also referred to Bazille as "she")
If so, they (all u-He's synth line, as one entity) might be collectively referred to as "(P)Spice Girls" !
Cheers !

No, only Diva and Bazille are referred to as female, as is More Feedback Machine (the German word "Maschine" is female... dunno if that's so in English, they also confuse sex of Sun and Moon
Zebras, Uhbiks and Filterscapes are neutral. Only ACE is as male as it gets. Oh yes, TyrellN6 has that Rutger-Hauer-ish male aspect too. As does Zoyd.
I honestly have no idea about Satin. Might be male, might be neutral. No idea.

Inanimate objects are gender neutral in English, though ships, aircraft and motor vehicles may sometimes be informally referred to as 'she'.Urs wrote:the German word "Maschine" is female... dunno if that's so in English
Any plans to add a gain knob to the digital oscillator? It's noticeably quieter than the other oscillator modules.

I'll discuss that with Clemens next week.Any plans to add a gain knob to the digital oscillator? It's noticeably quieter than the other oscillator modules.
