Very funny, and it boils down to:

1) Crack Live 9 or FLS 10

2) Find file shared loops or full tracks, download.

3) Crack filter and distortion plug-ins of your choice.

4) Sweep filters.

5) Wobble LFO's.

6) Tweak distortions.

7) Become incredibly famous and get laid.

And in this way, we understand the entire world of modern DJ/electronic music.

What's even funnier is how this song is sort of a social commentary on the music industry and subsequently some of the fans of it, and yet you read the comments on the song and it is almost ironic the responses this song gets.

My advice is to stop blaming others because your music is not heard and to stop insulting other producers. 90% of today's mainstream music is shit and guess what? It's not even about music nowadays! I know I am better than many well-known producers, but that does not mean you have to hate them because they're popular, you have to learn to deal with it. If you want to making commercial music then you have to adjust and to know what the type song crowd want to hear even if you have to make really stupid song. Remmeber art and commercial music don't go together. If you want to make real art you don't need anyone's oppinion and recall constantly why do you do this? Why are you into music?. Because you love to, right?. Remember when you made the very first song? It was a beautiful feeling and you were happy, right? You shouldn't have no opinion you were just happy 'cos you created something. Something that is only yours. The real answer is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts the most. You can have the best marketing in the world but if your song is not good...
...and the worst part is that your song shouldn't be good to you but to the crowd. Life is not fair and neither music, deal with it.

The hard truth is that for most of us no one cares about our music. First, there's tons of good music out there already. SO much you could spend the rest of your life just going through the good stuff that was released before you were born. Second, why? What are you doing? Is it great? New? Tapping the pulse of the collective consciousness? Probably not. Anyway, my advice is do it for yourself. Do it so YOU love it. Keep sharing but expect nothing. One day you may hit on something, but if not, you had a great time making music.

I tend to agree with this assessment. But I would add that it's not out of reach for an "unknown" music composer/producer to make waves in the wider culture of our times, but there is a massive qualification: you will HAVE TO make something truly arresting, surprising, moving, utterly impressive, and maybe even (pardon the cliche) revolutionary.

All of that sounds like smarmy pie in the sky talk, but it's inescapably true. Why? Because otherwise, as zerocrossing indicated, you will just fade back into the crowd, and the "crowd" has all the same tools and all the same access to exposure via the internet that you have.
