Setting Up Order in BandPass/Notch Type in MEqualizer

Hi,

I wanted to ask if there is a reason for bandpass and notch filters to have the order setting disabled in MEqualizer plugin?

If I set up the order for the lowpass filter and then switch the same band to bandpass or notch type, the order of the filter remains. Why I can't directly change the order on those filters then?

Hi,

this is mainly a matter of backward compatibility. But also it really didn't end that well when we tried that - basically the resonance only made the output of bandpass more resonant, conversely for notch. But at the end it didn't seem very useful.
