Thanks for the valuable information Tom!!ThomasHelzle wrote:You are very welcome! I think we had a bit of a misunderstanding a while back...hibidy wrote:Yeah, I was a wounded p...k for a while, I too would like to extend appreciation.

This has been doable with unlocked clip loop envelopes in Live for some time.trusampler wrote:Sounds Amazing, to my knowledge there really hasn't been anything in the daws I've used so far to do anything remotely close to this.ThomasHelzle wrote:One more thing: I just tried and yes, you can have automation independent of the lenght of your clip:
A 7 bar bass melody is running, I put a NotePitchShifter before the instrument and automate it's Coarse Pitch Value over 21 Bars so that it goes up one note every 7 bars. I loop that Automation at 21 bars and have now 3 repetitions of the 7 Bars, each one note higher as the one before.
Then I added a Resonance Automation with just 3 Bars length, also looping...
This is brilliant and can create extreme complexity from one simple loop when having multiple automations, each with a different lenght!
Cool

Can't wait, finally a daw where it seems that midi, and instruments and automation is a main large focus.
Somebody knows please? Please, understand me... im waiting here for years for bitwig. YOU are the betawiggers and Im the waiterwig! so please give me some infos!Michael1985 wrote: Hello Bitwggies:
1.There are clip and the traditional track automation. If I use clip automation and there is no automation after that, is there a standard value or do it use the last automation point inside the clip automation? And can I automate the same parameter with track AND clip automation?
2.And if I move, duplicate, copy&paste and delete clips and whole clip groups inside the arrnagement, do all the clip automation follows and also the track automation, if I want that?
3.If I want to change the order of clip groups inside the arrangement, and there is track automation of bus effects, do these automations follow the editing?
4.editing clip groups inside the arrangement: is there folder editing?
5.can I exchange one clip group with another inside the arrangement, as example if I chage the order of music parts?
Thanks for answers!

96kHz - 24 Bit. 60 MB.
Not sure the KVR-Player can play that back
Very capable for sounddesign.
I mean can I use bitwig's LFO plugin to modulate the Sylenth's cutoff, for instance?ThomasHelzle wrote:External as in VST? Yes, all VST parameters can be modulated with high precision.
That's what I love about the system.
In my example above, the sampler could be a VST just as well.
If you mean External as in Hardware Synths then I'm unsure.
While there is a Hardware Instrument that lets you send out Midi and get back Audio, I don't think the modulators create Midi ATM.
