Auditing individual notes in the piano roll?

Hello, is this feasible at this point? Are there plans to implement this?

I want to be able to click/move notes within the roll with the mouse and be able to audition the steps as I click and move up and down the roll...

You can alt left-click on a section of the piano roll to audition the note. It a nice balance between not having it (some of us find it annoying) and having it on every event (some of us like that too)
