Congratulations are in order to the team for what can only be described as a glowing review of Satin on pages 94-5 of the December issue of Computer Music. They were impressed by Satin's unequaled flexibility, not just in sound shaping, but in the extra delay and unique flanger features. They also consider the tape noise section an industry best (hehe), and heap praise on the abundance of great presets and the manual. As if all this isn't enough, the compander "is the jewel in Satin's crown...cementing it's status as an absolute game-changer." "Satin may well be the most versatile and capable [tape emulation plug-in] to hit the market so far."
I myself have been completely won over by Satin. Not just by the sound, but the whole package, including what is currently my favorite delay. And I was one of those who were initially really skeptical of how such a plug-in could be useful to me. Satin is a really unique and fun piece of kit.

I don't often like sound 'enhancement' plug-ins but Satin is superb. It is startling how effective it is. Satin is both subtle and obvious at the same time! Any accolades are well deserved.

Absolutely well-deserved. Congrats to Sascha, Urs and the entire team! I don't really care about how "close" an emulation is to the "real thing" (I'll leave that to the programmers and academics), but Satin has really improved my mixes, adding depth without sacrificing punch or transparency.
