Not a chance Justin would express himself this way.
I've read plenty comments of his on Cockos forum.

Really humble guy.

Perhaps the point of that sentence was lost in translation -- let me try again: it is not very enjoyable to hear people talk about you like they know you.

 Oh that's him all right. Below is my personal favorite KVR quote of Justin's ever....
I do love how people say "this isn't complicated" and "just read the [extensive] instruction manual".. Perhaps it _IS_ complicated, but you just are used to it? If it was really that simple, perhaps it wouldn't REQUIRE reading a manual, it would just be obvious. Granted, I am biassed by the way I do things, but I'd like to think to some extent I'm right..
I agree, I think you were right about that then and still are.

Justin. You don't know me..

Don't listen to what they say.

They are just jealous. Don't listen to them!

You are the best!

Mmh... that just doesn't want to fit to Reaper. :hihi: Disclaimer: In my opinion. :)

RTFM!

But seriously, I'm quite happy how understandable the REAPER manual is written by Geoffrey Francis. And there even are some other books which describe some features in detail... :)

Post

To be clear, I wasn't pointing quote that at Reaper. Users of all daws say that, say that the thing they know how to do in their daw that maybe isn't as easy as it is to do in another is... "Meh, not that complicated".

Like he correctly said there, sometimes it really - is - that complicated and you just can't view it from that particular perspective because you're just so accustomed to it. :)

Justin's in for a right pounding tonight.

If he hated KVR before, boy, he will really hate it now.

He'd probably be a great guy to have a beer with.

But then: Sorry, I have to go...

f**k the money.

Man, you have to really respect the guy for not doing it for the money, right?
That much is obvious.

Justin, just keep doing it. f**k, don't listen to little bitches at KVR.

R.E.A.P.E.R. is the bomb!

So can I come over and we can get blasted? Or, don't tell me, you have some more coding to do?

Ok...

Post

f**k me, Trickly Lops is in on the equation.

Run for your lives!

There will be some seriously good argument here from here on in.

Reaper is easy without the manual. Don't like long menus, don't look at them, or right click to bring them up.
i.Monitor Input, Record Output, Input Stereo x and y
ii.Measure latency with ReaInsert out and back to Outboard, set that to a negative amount on a jsdelay on that channel
........good to go.
I don't think it could be simpler.
It's obvious. No problemo. Always works. Never crashes, not once in years.
Elegant.

Shesh, enumerate and meh

I'd go one further. Reaper is a work of genius. What a wonderful world we live in that gives us tools like these.

I'm good up to v5. Then I'll just pay again. Really don't know what all the fuss is about.

Justin, Christophe, White Tie, Schwa, and Stillwell...

Are you f**king kidding me?

This is turning into a bit of an embarrassment now.

KVR, please do not embarrass yourself any further!

These are our brothers!

I can't work out who's taking the mickey out of who now???

Satire detector is on the blink. KVR-overload. :help:

Fair point.

I was serious, anyway.

Justin's work is off the scale, Christophe and Schwa too. White Tie is the best f**king graphic designer in the business. Who the f**k is better than him? No one! And Scott Stillwell for DSP?

KVR is in danger of becoming a seriously infected little bitch fest and f**king off the hand that feeds it. It was fun for a while. eh?

It's time for people here to seriously wind their neck in. There is no f**king argument against these people. It's shameful for a member of KVR to even have to say it.

What the f**k is the matter with you people?

fandango, there is no satire here.

Rado Sand goes very nicely with my RME TotalMix

No fruit on this computer. 8)
