I've had mixdown problems with MuLab and sforzando before - they were fixed but they seem to be back. Both have been updated several times since I last did a mixdown...

Here's an example: http://www.drealm.info/mu.lab/ADTS2-Gor ... 131110.Wav (18Mb)

Mixdown doesn't seem to be letting the sampler play back the notes properly.

Any suggestions for what to check in terms of tracking down the problem? (I was going to try the same session in an older Mulab but that's not possible, of course.)

--EDIT--
For comparison purposes, here is the same mix down as above performed in Reaper (same sforzando, same MIDI sequence as exported from Mulab):

I checked the code and the mixdown fix i installed some months ago is still active, nothing changed. I don't know why there suddenly is a new mixdown prob with Sforzando. Does changing MuLab's multi-core setting to 1 make a difference? (just asking for diagnosis of course, not suggesting as a solution)

Post

Surprisingly yes, using 1 core appeared to solve it. The problem returns with 2 cores (I usually use 6 of 8 ).

I think i found the reason. Please recheck using the next MuLab test version.

New M5.3.15 test version is available, see http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=395459

Does this new version fix the mixdown problem when using Sforzando with a multi-cored audio engine?

Yes, thanks -- looks good.
