IN my host renoise we have the abilty to render a selection of a pattern to audio , for whatever reason the first note of zebra 2.6 ( demoversion ) is cut off after 20 ms ...
Also when rendering the whole song ...first note of zebra is cut off .
Did not hapeen with zebra 2.5

Hey, I have the same issue under linux with vst-bridge, but I though it was because of renoise or vst-bridge. Maybe you're right and it is because of u-he!

I have the bug with diva, ace and zebra.

Post

I have only demo versions of u-he ..
Full renoise license though , no vst bridge here ..plugins are still 32 bit ...happens only with zebra 2.6 ...

Let me check if I have the issue with diva and ace.

Post

I did the check again, and I have the same issue with ace, diva and zebra2.

The first not is not played but instead I get some kind of click, like if the note off was send immediately or like a race condition in the plugin!

Then the second note is played well.

Post

do you use vst2 or vst3 plug versions?

Post

renoise is only vst2.

Post

yes vst 2 ..but I only have the problem with zebra 2.6 , not with ace , diva ,bazille and not with zebra 2.5
Running here on win xp 32

yes indeed like the first 10 ms ...then get cut off.things is if you put a new note directly after after it , this one plays fine .
It's just the first note

Oops, sorry, I hadn't seen this.

I think it might be related to our inevitable 16 samples latency. We had problems with that before in some hosts, and now we have rewritten our MIDI queue.

I'll look into that but can't promise a quick fix for our new code - if it isn't in the upcoming updates it'll be in new betas next year

yep, in renoise in the "Instrument Settings" tab (It's a feature that stops and starts processing VST blocks to save CPU)
