Hi....how can i create a mux with a knob that can "scan" from different audio source?....like the "audio balancer 2>1" module....but i need "10>1" with "balance" knob that can smoothly go from one source to the next....thanks and sorry for my english!!!

Are you going to build your own radio simulator?
Okay, no kidding - would this be a workaround: A MultiSampla with ten different samples on ten different keys and smooth attack/release?

Such standard MUX module does not yet exist, but check out the future MUX updates as MUX will improve and expand step by step. (thinking of a NxM audio balancer/switcher)

Wavetable MUX.... Oh the fun that would happen with that!

I'm indeed also researching multi-wave aka wavetable oscs. Technically it's not that difficult, the question rather is: What user interface? How would you like to build your multi-wave sequences? Ideas very welcome

For inspiration: Download the Synthmaster 2.6 demo and play around with the Oscillator type "Wavescan"...mutools wrote:I'm indeed also researching multi-wave aka wavetable oscs. I find this quite intuitive to work with... as well as the way the Oscillators in Zebra work...

I was going to say, Zebra and Synthmaster definitely have good wavetables.

It's possible, because people have done it with synths like the Proohet VS. It's called Vector Synthesis.

So something like vector synthesis?blandopazzo wrote:mutools wrote:I'm indeed also researching multi-wave aka wavetable oscs. Ideas very welcomei have some idea!!i spend some time to imagine my dream synth but i don't know if it's possible to implement it.....for example.....zebra has a linear approach to multiwave.....you have a knob and if you move it you can scan the wave sequence....but you can't "jump" from selected wave to another that it's not next or before.....my idea it's "multi axis" wave scan.....like a pad xy where you can assign wave to corner and to center of two axis....it's possible?;-)

The wavetable system i'm thinking of will be one-dimensional to start with for tech reasons. But i'll design it with multi-dim in mind for future expansion when computers have become even more vast & powerful. Thanks for the suggestions to look at Zebra & Synthmaster, will do. Just to avoid confusion: I'm not yet sure wavetable oscs will make it in the next version, maybe yes, maybe no, it will depend on the further research.
