Sounds like awesomenessWilliamK wrote: I'm also thinking on a way to add a Script module that will allow to create custom modules right inside W4k. It will use a simple interpreted language, so it won't be as optimized as a C++ coded module, but for simple stuff like MIDI and Effects it could be OK and very handy.![]()

I have to check, again, LUA, but I'm thinking on making my own simple script that converts the script into a much more real-time-focused code that is more optimized. But maybe I'm daydreaming...

yes, but the great thing in lua is, that it's almost limitless. not to speak of the resource savings in r&d department...
it's synthax is great. so in general, if you can code c, then you will be quite happy in lua...
then there are custom modules. maybe ones you never thought of.
what about maybe feeding an osc with data from an sql database accessed remotely via iNet.
endless possibilities...

Jules, the JUCE creator, released a JavaScript interpreter already. But I'm still brainstorming on how we could use the script engine to power up W4k modules... I will also check LUA again, to see how things are going.

Windows 7 x64WilliamK wrote:Thanks. Which windows version are you running, 32 or 64 bits? Also, did you try deleting Main Settings.xml?
FL Studio 11.0.3
Wusik 4000: B0008
I tried deleting Main Settings.xml and got the same results.
There may be some weird graphic things going. See the buttons on this:

New Windows Beta files uploaded. (MAC files I will upload tomorrow)
--------------
November 12 2013 - Beta Version B0012
- Added BPM Tempo Sync to the LFO Modulation module.
- Fixed both Multi Filter modules: when reset volume and drive will no longer be set to a different value.
- Updated Single OSC HQ mode: by default now is Off but still oversamples, but at HQ On it will do 8x oversampling.
- Added new Module SDK Options:
kSpecialDataPresetVersion = This is sent by the host to check what version are the parameters, by default modules will always send Version# 0, but, if you have updated a module and the parameters need some sort of "translation" from older presets, you need to include this and return another version#. See the option below for details.
kSpecialDataUpdatePreset = This is sent by the host after it sends all preset's information to the module. It will include the preset version # so the module can do any sort of translation if required.
- Fixed a problem with BPM not been reported to modules. (the new LFO updates requires this)

The latest version still chops off the right side for me. It's more than an annoyance - I can't get to the presets at all.
I tried the standalone version and it behaves similarly (see below) in that the right side is chopped off and there is no horizontal scroll bar, even when the window is expanded as far as it can go via dragging. I can, however, maximize the window and then see the right side and the preset browser.

BTW, I've used Wusik Station 6 for a long time, and I just started using Wusik Station 7 thanks to the GB. Great stuff! I'm looking forward to Wusik 4000.

I'm doing real-time real-work tests with SONAR and some song projects I'm trying to make, to find out stability issues and bugs... so far I already found a SERIOUS bug in the Multi Filter Poly that was crashing almost every time I would tweak a parameter, sorry about that, it was a very silly-stupid coding mistake I did.
I really need another coder to help me out here...

Ok, new files. And sorry for such silly bugs, coding way too much and sometimes the brain do silly things...
-----------
November 14 2013 - Beta Version B0014
- Fixed bug in the Multi Filter Poly module that was crashing the whole engine. (the same for the White Noise Sound Generator)
- Fixed bug when closing up a project that had Wusik 4000 included, it would crash badly.
- Fixed bug when removing a module and having pitch/filter envelopes setting lost.

It certainly seems powerful and maybe a demo that was less EDM patch sounding would help, but I'm finding myself less impressed with it than WusikStation/V7.
Since this is a completely new instrument, are you planning to do anything more with V7 or will you abandon it completely?
(My only wants for V7 {ATM} is for patch change to have a smooth transition and the volume to work in the stand-alone savi-host).
But I'm still keeping an eye on your progress with this one.
