Have you tried rev 1973 (v1.1.1 candidate) already?

If the problem persists with this build, please give us some info on how to reproduce it on our side. What were you doing right before the crash?

Hi Just installed the beta and using vst2 which is fine.

Crash seems to happen with vst3.

New track, insert satin vst3, add audio file > crash.

Using beta 2023 a couple problems persist.

VST3 still crashes.

New bug: inserting satin on a track causes audio to stop passing on the track, removing the plugin doesn't help, have to delete the track and make a new one.

Unfortunately not able to use Satin for any work projects at the moment due to this instability.

We also have a new version that others in your situation reported as fixed. We'd love to send that to you too, but we might go public with it today anyway :-)

Hi Urs - no crashing with vst2 but Satin isn't passing audio.

Where do I find satin.log? Not having any luck with that one! :?

You create an empty text file on your desktop and call it Satin.log (no .txt ending). Open host, work a bit with Satin, close host, send Satin.log to us :-)

However, if you can confirm that the crash is gone, then we're a vast step further than last week.

Ok will do - VST2 not crashing but VST3 is. Both not passing audio, especially after closing and re-opening a project.

Currently, I can't use Satin 1.1.1 at all with DP 7.24, Mac OS 10.6.8.

Randomly, any mono track with Satin on it will go silent and on the Master bus, suddenly one of the channels will unexpectedly disappear.

Going back to VTM until this fatal bug is squashed…
