Can Tracktion function as a Rewire slave?

Hi,

I am thinking about using tracktion as a Midi sequencer for my Triton Rack, and basically pipe all the audio into Live 3, using a Digidesign Mbox.

The Mbox itself is an excellent soundcard (oh, the preamps...) but I'm not too hot on CPU-sucking, layers-of-menus Protools LE.

My questions are:

1) Can Tracktion function as a Rewire slave?
2) Will is support the Mbox?
3) Is anyone using Tracktion with Novation V-station? Is it working OK?

In the specs it said Tracktion supports both Rewire2 and Asio, which sounds the business but I really need to be sure.

No.

My Mbox doesn't work well with Tracktion when i can get it to work at all. (I haven't spent too much time trying to solve the issue though, since I have another soundcard that works fine.) Anyone else here using an Mbox?

Yeah. Sound output from the Mbox comes out all static. Not good.

Please someone deliver me from audio hell - Prevent me from seeking Nirvana by spending $3,000 on a new G5 and Logic Pro. :-/

I'll settle for $80 and good enough.
