This sale has been set off.Numanoid wrote:Sad to see a dev close up shop, but at least they are going out on a high:Nine Volt Audio is shutting its doors.
In January 2014 we will stop selling our libraries.
In a few days we will launch a "Going Out of Business" Group Buy sale.
A Group Buy is a sale where the deal gets better as more people purchase.
Before the sale is announced publicly, we will offer you a 72-hour window to get the best possible deal of the Group Buy - GUARANTEED - with no waiting and no wondering.
Stay tuned for details!

Might want to check FAQ closely, some useful info there.
I only found the info in FAQ that Taiko 2 is not included in the GB collection.

+1, the thread should go Twitter style, make offers in 160 characters or lessantithesist wrote:Text-only, please? I thought there was a general consensus on that not long ago. I am posting this here on purpose, but can any discussion go in the other thread? Thanks!

Very funny... not a problem for me since I don't use slimeys and the like. Seriously, I thought keeping to text, links, etc. was the outcome of the recent discussion. Say what, where, how much and a link. I don't need pictures of fake boxes, videos or embedded sounds. The old computer that I surf with most often quit working with soundclown some time back, anyway.

I agree with you that it is best to keep the offers short and to the point. It is much easier to browse that thread and get an overview of all the recent offers also thenantithesist wrote:Very funny... not a problem for me since I don't use slimeys and the like. I like the offers that contain audio links, pictures, embedded audio and/or other details that give me a good start to know whether I'd even be interested. Something that just lists a name and URL is less useful to me as I need to click to somewhere else to get the minimum details I need.
I checked the Market Place rules and also the first post of the bargains thread, and there is nothing against either a sparse post or a very verbose one, so regardless of our opinions, people who post bargains are not bound by the discussion here.

If you know nothing about the product, then you probably don't need it. It's not an ad thread.thenumber23 wrote:Something that just lists a name and URL is less useful to me as I need to click to somewhere else to get the minimum details I need.
Wonder whether my advice worth a penny? Check my music at Soundcloud and decide for yourself.

Was that Sigmund price at JRR Shop a special deal? I entered the coupon code and it worked, but the price came up $87.00, not $57.00....
(I would consider it for 60....)

thats the thing: probably don't need it and thats why it's fine to have a pic, description or sounddemos right here in this thread. linking away cost to much time.Loki Fuego wrote:If you know nothing about the product, then you probably don't need it. How does Prime Plugins set their prices, just got a message about this newbie added now:
http://primeplugins.com/the-solino-stri ... -mk-1.html
But why is that 20% more expensive than the listing here (close to 40% now as there also in an intro price on) ?

But Taiko 2 can at least be bought individually with like 55% rebate off regular price.extrajazz wrote:All Products BUT NOT the most interesting Taiko 2 - and he does not say it....!Numanoid wrote:9 Volt Audio "Going Out Of Business" group buy/final sale
For three days the group buy is on at 200 bucks for 38 titles
Individual libraries are also available at 60-70% off during this time.
http://www.ninevoltaudio.com/
So if it is only Taiko 2 you want to get, it's better to buy that at $60 instead of buying the whole deal at $200

@Cadd on the bargains thread:
1) Stop posting on the bargains thread unless you have a bargain, k?
2) I believe that Uncle E is being subtle in telling you that if you buy it now, you may miss a REALLY special deal he might have on that future date. He's pretty reliable that way.
