Diva: Any way to retrigger oscs and/or adjust osc phase?

Yes, I realize this isn't exactly in the spirit of analog. And yes, I know the DCOs retrigger, but they're kinda limited, ie no balance control, limited pitch adjustment, and the other OSCs just sound really nice.
But I've been making bass patches non stop since I bought this synth. The texture of a bass sound varies quite a bit depending on where the OSCs phase happens to be. I'll have all 3 moog oscs going, and occasionally I'll here that perfect note where they happened to be aligned in a way that sounds really good. I kinda with I could have the OSCS retrigger and be able to adjust the phase manually so I could get that perfect interaction on every key press! This is what you can do with a digital VA, but combine this ability with Diva's analog modeling and you'd have some seriously good sounds!
But it doesn't seem like there's any way to do that, unless I'm missing something. Maybe a good feature to add in the future?

This is a new feature that can be previewed in the public beta of Diva which can be downloaded here:

Yay! This synth is the most fun I've had with a plugin in ages, thank you guys so much for making this.
On another note, this beta seems to have an issue with notes sticking if they're played too fast in sequence on the piano roll keyboard, I'm not sure if this is a known issue or not. I'm using Sonar 8 producer 32 bit on 64 bit windows vista.

Sticking notes: This is a known problem and already fixed inhouse. The fix will be in the next public beta which is planned to be released soonish.3*s wrote:Yay! This synth is the most fun I've had with a plugin in ages, thank you guys so much for making this.

send preset to support at u-he dot com and we can tell youc_bomb wrote:I can't seem to spread stacked voices when using osc reset - routing stack index to pan mod doesn't seem to do anything.
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

Well that's just super dumb. How hard is it to make an analog osc track the whole keyboard? This isn't the 1970'sKriminal wrote:Not surprised, it only goes up to C4Sendy wrote:Moog Minataur, retired and replaced by Diva.
Still, Moog could pretty much release anything and people would be all over it.

Seems that it is working, I just hadn't cranked up the voice drift amount enough to get the sound I was going for. It was sounding more like the volume was dropping rather than the voices spreading without voice drift at a more noticeable level.Urs wrote:send preset to support at u-he dot com and we can tell youc_bomb wrote:I can't seem to spread stacked voices when using osc reset - routing stack index to pan mod doesn't seem to do anything.

Didn't you detune the stacked voices?c_bomb wrote:I can't seem to spread stacked voices when using osc reset - routing stack index to pan mod doesn't seem to do anything.

Probably something I overlooked on this patch. I have noodled with those parameters on other patches though. Having only owned Diva since last Friday, I'm still a little overwhelmed by that trimmers page honestly. I think most of us find it a bit daunting at first. I'm still not always using it to it's full potential. You can really change the sound of the synth on that page, making it sound like an old VCO or a less old DCO.c_bomb wrote:Probably something I overlooked on this patch.
