Live Push

Yeah, finally it's here.

Features include two-monitor support, better multi-core rendering algorithm and some new work modes for Push.

Installing now. Not sure when I'll have a chance to trest it properly, though.

Fixes quite a few other bugs though.

Nice update.

How strange to see Live like this...

Think I'll finish what I'm working on before I install it, but nice update.

I think I saw dual monitor supported 9.1 news last day.. Is it dejavu?..

Yeh- I just posted a separate thread on the PUSH update that comes with it:

•Added a Melodic Step Sequencer mode.
•You can now add parameter automation to the selected step in a step sequencer.

I have to say I have been running the Beta for a while (the Abes did a very thorough open beta on this) and its impressive.

People will of course bang on about PDC like its a new issue (its as it was, in fact better, then Live 1 through 8!) but its somewhat connected to the nature of the 'live' workflow- personally I can live with it, in fact I never even noticed it until other brought it up! Live 9 Suit with Push is simply mind-blowing in what it can do, I will never even scratch the surface.

No news for the painful browser since 9...?

It needs 16 macro knobs on the racks and macro buttons on the racks.
I can get the 16 macros addon if I get Max 4 Live but that's £103

Live 9.1 also changed the audio setup so that the samples fit the latency setting better.

Interesting, I hope this isn't seen as bothersome noise but it's a shame that that implementation seems lacking compared to bitwigs, where you pick a main layout (arrange, mixer, or edit), and then you can call up any other window that will fit with a button.

So for example if you wanted to see you mixer under the arrange view you would pick the arrange view and then you could just call up a docked mixer at the bottom of that window, rather than having to deal with multiple windows.

And yes, at least Live's implementation actually exists right now before someone points that out. But it would be cool to have it that way.

Cool bro, you already got a bit of wig.

Lolz, I signed up for the beta and never did it :ud:

Will it autoupdate from 9.06?

Post

No hibidy, you have to sign in and download manually.

Happy Musiking!

It won't auto update. Must be downloaded from your account.

Seems to run well on OS 10.9 (Mavericks) so that's a good sign.

All Camel Audio plugins are working well in this update (Alchemy, CamelPhat, CamelSpace, CamelCrusher).

Peace,
Andy.
