Hi there,

In v2.7 we're planning to redesign the GUI :) It'll hopefuly be released around May 2014!

Thanks

Awesome, thanks for the response.

I've been running into an issue with the INIT pre-set. If I work on a new sound using layer one, everything works great. And again, this is really great sounding with tons of potential. If I mute Layer 1 and open Layer 2, notes drone, unless I turn the layer volume all the way off and modulate it with an envelope. Is this how it's supposed to behave? It happens consistently

Thanks again.

You need to modulate the layer voice volume parameter of Layer 1 or 2 with an envelope in X mode (modulation amount set to max) so that the layer voice terminates when the layer received MIDI note off message. Otherwise the osc(s) will continue generating their output.

Will this, finally, include implementing some automation param smoothing?

That's great, thanks!

Here are some feature requests for future versions. Apologies in advance if these seem nit-picky. As I use SM more I am realizing it's power, but these interface quirks get in the way of convenient operation for me.

- Oscillator selection
After selecting a waveform, when going back into the menu, it defaults back to the top level directory. I think it would be more useful if it opened back up to the previously selected waveform. The left and right increment/decrement buttons are really useful, sometimes they get lost in the graphics.

- Pitch Control -- when changing coarse pitch, it would be convenient if the increments were in semi-tones, rather than semitones and fractions. Perhaps holding down shift could implement the fractions, but it always takes a little extra time to get the octave to land on the actual coarse octave semitone.

Thanks again for the quick fix and update for the paste issues!

Use mouse wheel to change coarse tune so the increments are in semitones!

What am I doing wrong? When I paste an oscillator or an envelope, the knobs take random values. Like, the tuning will be off on the oscs, and the envelope parameters will be off on the envelopes. Pasting repeatedly gives a different result every time.

Synthmaster 2.6.9 (? whatever version you uploaded in the last update referenced above that has a november date stamp on the plugin files), Reaper (tried both 32 and 64) 4.57, OS X 10.9 Mavericks.
