I've been getting a bit crazy with automations in Simpler and finding it to be quite fun. That and automating effects etc..
Anyhow this is has quite a bit of bass in it so be warned. I mixed these on headphones to try and chase down any nasty highs on my KRK KNS8400 headphones.

After listening to this, I am thinking I did a pretty good job mixing this. Lemme know your thoughts.
If you listen to it on Headphones lemme know what you think of the mixing? Does the sound appear 3D?
Everything you hear was basically Abletons simpler & Drum rack being heavily automated with effects.

This is wicked! Definately lots of use of spatial field going on in these average studio hedfones, if that's what u mean by 3D.
Think all the sounds are coming thru quite well. Bass isn't getting lost with the reverby swells.
The beginning immediately made me think of some of the percussivey bits on The Stranger (James Kirby/Leyland Kirby/The Caretaker) latest one - hope u don't mind comparisons - but it shifted my head around once the beat starts proper, and especially when the glitchy stab kicks in the bouncing synth before the metallic clattery drums come in.
Too short though! (altho that might be a good thing, on reflection)

Thx for the listen! I was just bored and thought hmm i wonder just how much sound mangling I can do with just the live 9 standard tools and i think this is just scratching the surface.
