i wanna recreate the left preset in DIVA and thought the minimoog template with 3 osc is the most fitting one + digital adsr, what would you suggest?

thanks a lot mate, again learned more about DIVASendy wrote:It's in the "main" page tab, just above the "main" button, you've got "Voices" and "Stack", Stack being the amount of unison layers. Be sure to give enough voices to satisfy the Stack requirements (and take into account if you're playing a solo line or chords, for example). Also, if you have a multi-core computer, TURN ON MULTICORE! This is a lifesaver!
Then in the Trimmers page you can set offsets for each voice and set the spread of eg. panning and pitch, etc, to customise the unison sound.
To be honest, I don't find myself using unison much in Diva. The sound is incredibly rich as it is. It's something I should look into more.

AWESOME! thanks a lot, i love especially the SPREAD function3*s wrote:Direct translation:
num: "stack" on the main page or trimmers page
det: You can set the Tune Mod source to StackIndex and Tune Mod knob will be the same as det, or as Howard suggests you can tweak the voices individually with the knobs under "stack tuning" on the trimmers page. This will allow you to save the pitch modulation source for something else.
Phase: Diva's OSCs other than DCO are free running, so it will usually act like the phase knob is turned all the way up. AFAIK there is no way to "spread" the phase of unison voices in Diva (the phases of free running OSCs are already spread), however if you want a similar sound to the phase knob being turned down, set transient mode to "OSC reset" on the trimmers page, and the 3 knobs above it will give a similar effect to "phase" in the synth 1 unison panel.
sprd: Set the pan mod (main page) source to StackIndex and the pan mod knob becomes sprd.
pitch: You have to do this manually in the stack tuning section. Set each knob to the pitch you want (the number in the top display is in semitones, same as pitch in synth 1). Then detune each one slightly if you're using that method for detuning. If you need this feature and don't mind losing the pitch mod source it might be easier to use StackIndex for detuning.
