here's a video and sound examples, demonstrating some love for it by techno monkeys in a spaceship, they used it as a communication device between their spaceship and Earth, and their massage is... Weird ambient infected techno
Happy Friday... if it's Friday, time gets confusing when roaming the space with broken space shuttle, everyday becomes a one big endless night.

I remember playing with the demo for a bit when I got my new computer (i7 six core), and it was no problem at all with CPU usage - at least for a single instance. I thought the presets showed it off pretty well.
The GUI could've been bigger, but wasn't so small as to be constantly annoying for me.
My main gripe was firstly the price: although not entirely out of my range - and I still haven't spent on that "next" synth yet, so it's still in with a chance - at the moment it's a decision between this, Diva & Zebra2. But it'll all have to wait until after the xmas/new year bad drunken-holiday-spending financial recovery period! And more demoing. And keeping an eye on other synths that are getting near to release.....and other things! But yeah - for this kind of money I need to be sure I'll get some value from it.
I did have a weird bug that might not be a bug, though I've only had it with the demo of this - sometimes the sound would start pitch shifting like on an lfo, but when I turn my keyboard off (M-Audio Axiom) it would stop. Might be the Axiom encoder, although I've never had the problem on any other synth before or after trying Lush 101. Anyway, didn't think it worth bothering D16 team about it unless I was close to a decision in Lush101's favour.
Well despite the fact that I've not played with TAL Bassline to compare, I remember thinking the actual sound of it was praise-worthy.

Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

2. The CPU usage is ludicrous for what you get - and this is speaking as a Diva and Synth Squad user.
YMMV as to these gripes, but that's why I personally find it hard to love Lush.
4. None of these issues will ever be addressed - D16 are shit at updating their stuff or responding to user issues, especially in contrast to U-He.

That's a demo restriction.The_Hidden_Goose wrote:I did have a weird bug that might not be a bug, though I've only had it with the demo of this - sometimes the sound would start pitch shifting like on an lfo, but when I turn my keyboard off (M-Audio Axiom) it would stop. I feel the same way, the GUI was perfect for *me*, I have good eyesight and liked having it the size it was. So now I don't really want to update
I thought the larger GUI was going to be an option, but it looks like no.

The multicore support is a game changer for me. Lush will be seeing a lot of use now that it's feasible to run more than one instance.
But this GUI is hilarious.
