I think the vast majority of us at KVR are used to him, he's part of the charm. But if he's bothering you it's probably because you either been here too long or not long enough.firepile wrote:How come you end up arguing in each and every thread you post in?
So the Propellerhead's forum is down. Post in here if you normally post there.

Speaking of Antidote, Synapse really is a class act. Their approach is probably the ideal model for how to develop rack extensions. By creating a unique instrument specifically for the rack (instead of a straight port), they're not a slave to pre-existing GUI design and there isn't a feeling of duplication or redundancy, especially for people who might also own VST versions of their instruments. He's also been continually adding new features and addressing any issues that arise swiftly. It's one of the highest rated REs in the Prop shop and deservedly so.OzWozEre wrote:This thread is now an Antidote thread!
I have a feeling that Audiorealism's upcoming 80s synth emulation is going to be along similar lines and won't be a port of any of their pre-existing instruments.

Even if this were possible with some kind of wrapper, translating the backside to VST doesn't seem feasible:electro wrote:How do you run Rack Extensions as VSTInstruments? Any Adapters available?

If this is the same synth I am thinking of, apparently NSL power trio that did the sound design for the Antimatter refill and Tres monosynth will be doing the patches for this as well. I could be mistaken though, but that's what I heard.Tronam wrote:Speaking of Antidote, Synapse really is a class act. Their approach is probably the ideal model for how to develop rack extensions. In general it's a stereo synth, but the additional flexibility can be very useful. Anyway, I expect the upcoming Synapse Dune2 to cover the same territory for VST/AU hosts, so you should be able to get something similar soon. It won't look the same, but will probably cover the same sonic territory.electro wrote:Looks like a complex modular, but what about a simple Stereo out Synth?

Sounds good. They do outstanding work and the Antidote refill is one of their best yet. NSL and Soundcells in particular are top notch.Lunesis wrote:If this is the same synth I am thinking of, apparently NSL power trio that did the sound design for the Antimatter refill and Tres monosynth will be doing the patches for this as well.
