Speaking of Antidote, Synapse really is a class act. Their approach is probably the ideal model for how to develop rack extensions. By creating a unique instrument specifically for the rack (instead of a straight port), they're not a slave to pre-existing GUI design and there isn't a feeling of duplication or redundancy, especially for people who might also own VST versions of their instruments. He's also been continually adding new features and addressing any issues that arise swiftly. If this is the same synth I am thinking of, apparently NSL power trio that did the sound design for the Antimatter refill and Tres monosynth will be doing the patches for this as well. I have a feeling that Audiorealism's upcoming 80s synth emulation is going to be along similar lines and won't be a port of any of their pre-existing instruments.
In general it's a stereo synth, but the additional flexibility can be very useful. Anyway, I expect the upcoming Synapse Dune2 to cover the same territory for VST/AU hosts, so you should be able to get something similar soon. Sounds good. They do outstanding work and the Antidote refill is one of their best yet.
