Getting a 10/10 was impressive. However, after reading the review it seems to me like they would like to give it an even higher score. Well done Sascha, Urs, Clemens, Rob, Howie, and all the people that worked to make Satin. You have earned it.

I myself have been completely won over by Satin. Not just by the sound, but the whole package, including what is currently my favorite delay. And I was one of those who were initially really skeptical of how such a plug-in could be useful to me. Satin is a really unique and fun piece of kit.
which the music magazines give, really are? Years back, when I worked a period for a instrument manufacturer, I was surprised (and which opened my innocent eyes) by the corporate culture in the music industry (all industries?) how the reviews are nothing more than commodity: I advertise in your magazines by $$$ - you give me 10/10. H.

Not that it would be worth a big argument, in a small market, software reviews from magazines, which also have to make sure they survive, is always more or less a give and take. For example, i can't imagine that mags pay for the stuff they test.

Still on the demo. This plugin sounds so absolutely delicious (yes, I want to take a bite out of Zebra+Satin+Satin on Master Bus), that the demo crackling doesn't even bother me...yet.
I cannot imagine going without this now. Incredible how it very subtly elevates a decent mix to something else - warm, beautifully coloured, rich and gorgeous.

OK, the crackling became too much Bought it, very happy with this plugin. Ecstatic really. Compare old mixes without it (at the same volume) with older ones. There is no warmth there, no life, no future.
This is the best plugin I can think of. Apart from Zebra. But Zebra without Satin is like a horse without stripes. Which is fine if that's your cup of tea. Not my cup though.
