I've had it since introduced, and that's pretty much my conclusion. I seem to remember them showing the signs of up-sampling, but do other Softube plug-ins?TheoM wrote:TBH, at the 10K, it practically nulls with the much cheaper and ilok free Plug and Mix Brightness plugin. But at 2.7 and 3.5 k it is no where close, the softube is much nicer. However after demoing, the only benefit over a good eq is maybe convenience factor? Do you guys agree?
Maybe tried the wrong source with the Kush One but Olonga's one sounds really smooth i am not saying is the better option as is huge cpu hog as all Henry presets.TheoM wrote:Do you mean the kush audio one sounds harsher? wow the henry one must be amazing then.lacandon wrote:is it this new emulation or just the ported the old one ? I may try it otherwise don't see purpose of the I lok thing got only 1 slate plug with it ? I tried before the Kush Audio Clariphonic but compared to the Henry Olonga Clariphonic sounds really disturbing and harshier.
Cause i spent a good part of yesterday pitting everything I had against the kush audio clariphonic and absolutely nothing could come close to it's smoothness.
TBH for those adverse to nebula i'd recommend just getting the kush, cause i can't think of anything this softube pack can do that the kush can't, and it's a cheaper single plugin. Just my opinion of course
Cheers
