Multicore support is fantastic! Now I can actually play these sounds. Why don't all the developers implement it?

I downloaded and installed LuSH-101 to give it a try and I found it very annoying,I don't know if it is with the Demo only but the GUI is so Huge that I can not see the right side of the Synth, I can not see the Master Volume, Etc... also whenever I press any of my keyboard, comes up an irritating noise that I have to quit the program. There's no way I would by something like this. It's just unplayable.

Well, I for one am beginning to love it more and more. The update is really good, I can play all presets without crackles now. The sound is really kind of special - a special kind of grit, transparent and airy and earthy at the same time. Pretty unique in the software world, I'd say - at least it goes way beyond the 101 sound.
With the sale on, I'm really tempted... aaargh! Another synth!

I liked too, but I can't see the whole synth, can you see it or it's just me?ariston wrote:Well, I for one am beginning to love it more and more. really sorry for that... we wanted to release multi-core support update asap and the bigger GUI was fixed in this update.
Update with GUI size (previous one small and current big) selection is almost done and will be available next week.
Cheers,
Przemek

edit: ahh, just saw the post. It'll get here, don't worry.
I'm really not a preset hound, but there are some great presets in Lush, really useful and musical. Good stuff!

Damn, alright! I've been playing with the demo all evening, and I just pulled the trigger. Thanks again for being so responsive to customer feedback - I really love the timbres I'm getting out of LuSH, and the update has removed my two biggest niggles: the CPU consumption (which is still kinda high, but hey), and the small GUI.

I just purchased a license this weekend. I watched/listened to several videos on YT before I pulled the trigger and decided that the synth is way more than just an SH101 clone.
The GUI is wonderful. I am an old guy and like large, easy-to-read GUIs. I have a 26 inch HD monitor, which is sort of standard fare these days, that makes many GUIs look tiny and unreadable. There is a lot of info on the Lush-101, GUI but it is easy to read. Eight-note chords on patches like "CS80-Hymn" at high real time quality are peaking my CPU at about 12%, running more like 8%-10%. My Win7 DAW PC is home-built with a decent quad core and (i7-2600 3.4GHz) and Asus MB, but is about one year old now. I am seeing the two threads on just one core light up - all the others are really low.
I have to try programming some arps with long envelope tails and other things that might tax the system more.

The multicore update is great, I really didn't want to buy a new PC just for LuSH and Diva. Now I can hold off a little longer still

I'd like to know as well. From what I understand from the d16 forums, being able to add more FX and change the skins color are two options being talked about. This would make the synth legendary imo.
